Belgian director, photographer and curator Pierre Debusschere utilizes innovative technologies to create high impact visuals. In 2009, he founded 254FOREST, a creative studio working in the realms of film, art, photography and music.
Debusschere launched his career at Dazed & Confused in 2008. Shortly after, he was invited to work with Nicola Formichetti on an acclaimed digital content application for Vogue Hommes Japan and Dior Homme, the first of its kind for the magazine.
Editorial clients include V Magazine, V Man, Dazed & Confused, Numéro, Vogue Hommes Japan, AnOther Magazine, Document and Nowness. Debusschere has created striking campaign films for Louis Vuitton, Dior, Y3, Hugo Boss, Costume National and Raf Simons. In 2010 Debusschere had a solo film exhibition at Colette; in 2013 he was part of the established exhibition at the Hyeres International Fashion and Photography Festival, for which he created a book, exhibition and hour-long film entitled “I KNOW SIMPLY THAT THE SKY WILL LAST LONGER THAN I.”
Most recently he directed two music videos for Beyoncé’s self-titled visual album as well as creating a full range of campaign images (and a film inspired by the seven deadly sins) for the 2014-15 season of the National Opera of Belgium.
